Update 11/1
Jason and I are currently busy making plans to move to Atlanta. I recently found out that I start an internship with Carters very soon. As a side note, I also finally worked on my website again- www.jeanettelyn.com (I feel it is much improved.)
It's a very exciting time!

bless you!
I've been home in Wisconsin for a few weeks now, I can't believe how chilly it is already! (I had a cold the second I got here.) Besides those minor things, being home has been WONDERFUL!! There's nothing like home. And for many reasons I have been motivated and upbeat on a consistent basis. Well, enjoy the sketch.

Quick Illustration!
Hello! I did this illustration entirely in photoshop, which is not typical for me. I had a good time though and tried to keep it fresh and not overly worked. It is supposed to be the front of a greeting card. The inside would say something like, "Never a dull moment with you. Happy Birthday." Teehee, it reminds me of my brother at that age!

Jason is helping me put together a new website right now, which I'm really excited about!!! And it will still be under www.jeanettelyn.com which is sweet. And for now I'm working on a couple of personal projects. Later!

i got an idea!!
Late one night I did this quick sketch in painter...not sure where it came from, lol. Anyway, I thought of a children's book story to go along with it and wrote it out. I'm in the process of refining her character, editing the writing, and laying out the story right now... sooo much fun!!!

Rivanna Park
About a week or so ago Jason and I went to Rivanna Park and did a bit of landscape painting. I haven't done this in awhile, so it was really nice!

i think he's kinda cute...
This is one of the many characters I created while I put together my Carter's Portfolio. It would be a lot to post everything, but I particularly liked this little guy... so there you go!
There is good news and bad news regarding Carter's. Bad first: No internship for me this summer =(. Good News: Had a great time in Atlanta during my interview. Plus, they would like me to intern in November! This is assuming they have the budget by then. hmmm...
Oh well... guess we'll see.
For the time being Jason and I will be staying in lovely Charlottesville, VA. =)

senior portrait
I'm trying to start posting more often. So, although I turned in my portrait awhile ago I thought I'd go ahead and still post it. I really like how the senior poster is turning out so far, too!

I know it's a little late, but I made many of my Christmas gifts this year and I came across some photos I took of the necklaces that I made for my sisters. I was very happy with the way they turned out =)
